The Battle of Westport Fund offers guided tours of battlefield locations and presentations on a variety of American Civil War topics of local interest. Our volunteer staff have years of experience researching local events and preserving our local battlefields.
The Monnett Battle of Westport Fund established a driving tour in 1979 following the installation of 25 historical markers commemorating the key events of the Battle of Westport. This self-guided auto tour provides a general understanding of the events which took place on October 22-23,1864.

Visit the battlefield with an experienced tour guide. We have both walking tours and driving tours during which you accompany our experienced tour guides and gain a deeper understanding of what happened during the Battle of Westport.
Booking a tour is a two-step process. First schedule a time with one of our tour guides to discuss which battlefield sites you want to visit, when you want the tour, and how many individuals will be taking the tour. Then we will create a one-time event on our website which you can use to pay for the tour.
